There have been many Christian members working with the quartet since its beginning in 1993. The group now starts its 2010 year with members from Ft Worth Bill Hurlbert singing the bass; Paul Petty from New London will be singing baritone and our newer members are David Kelly singing lead from Texarkana also our new tenor singer from Ft Worth Phil Dillard
God has been good to Humble Hands and He has always seen to there needs. He is a providing God and has given them everything they've ever needed to do this ministry. The doors have opened up for the quartet’s ministry and have ministered to a vast number of people over the last 16 years. Our prayer is that someone will be changed after they have attended a service with ministries like there's. "We will strive to be humble, obedient, and press on to see souls changed. "
Humble Hands is a traditional southern gospel quartet ministry that has the committed desire to serve the Lord, local churches, and public gatherings in the East Texas area. The members of the quartet are from the Baptist, and Pentecostal faith and have been singing in the ministry for many years. They have ministered for the US armed forces, town square, churches, retirement / nursing homes, all day singings, oprys, and back yard barbeques. They have made the promise to go anywhere when invited with no monetary prerequisite of any kind. They love to serve the smaller churchs just as much as a large one. Not many quartets will say that.
You will be lifted up with songs made popular by Gold City, Gaither Vocal Band, The Kingdom Heirs, Greater Vision, The Perrys and many others. And they always have a Heavenly Highway Hymnal song or two. So come and sing along.
